Acadis Readiness Suite Achieves FedRAMP Authorization
Bloomington, Ind.— Envisage Technologies announced today that it has received a Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) Authorization for the Acadis Readiness Suite® (Acadis) cloud system.
The FedRAMP Program Management Office (PMO) reviewed the Acadis security package, including the System Security Plan, Security Assessment Plan, Security Assessment Report, and Plan of Action and Milestones. Based on this analysis, the FedRAMP PMO has determined that this package is acceptable for any federal agency considering authorization of the cloud service. This determination allows agencies to re-use the Acadis authorization package without having to conduct a full security assessment.
Acadis serves more than 1.7 million first responders across 9,800 public safety organizations, including federal, state and local agencies. It provides a comprehensive hire-to-retire system to manage the full range of complex training and compliance operations. Highly customizable, its 20 interrelated modules can replace multiple information systems, creating measurement capabilities and cost-savings not possible through unintegrated systems.

The initial authorizing agency granted Acadis a 36-month authorization to operate (ATO) at the Moderate Impact level. FedRAMP Authorization supports the Federal Government’s efforts to modernize IT and provide a standardized approach to security assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring for cloud products and services.
The FedRAMP Authorization for Acadis came after an extensive review process that involved an intensive assessment designed to seek out any potential security weaknesses.
