BLOOMINGTON, IN, October 1, 2013 — Envisage Technologies, a Bloomington, Indiana-based software company, announced today that it signed a four year contract with the Arkansas Commission on Law Enforcement Standards and Training (ACLEST) to implement the Acadis Readiness Suite statewide. Acadis will act as the State’s system of record, enabling law enforcement agencies to provide their mandatory training and compliance documentation to ACLEST digitally. Acadis will also be used to automate numerous training processes at the Arkansas Law Enforcement Training Academy.
“We extensively researched potential enterprise solutions to automate our training academy operations and provide an electronic portal for our law enforcement agencies throughout the state. The Acadis Readiness Suite was best suited to meet our objectives because it is purpose-built for the needs of law enforcement and public safety,” stated Ken Jones, Executive Director of ACLEST. “This will streamline many aspects of our training and certification processes, increase the accuracy of compliance information, and eliminate much of the cost and labor associated with paper recordkeeping.”
The system will be used to track approximately 15,000 law enforcement officers employed by 464 law enforcement agencies throughout the state. Acadis will manage basic, advanced, and in-service training records, as well as storing supporting digital documents to ensure all officers are in compliance with Arkansas’ training policies.
