This past year brought about many triumphs for Envisage Technologies. The company continued to expand its partnerships and product features, further establishing itself as the leading software company for the public safety training and compliance industry.
As we gear up for another successful year in 2015, Envisage takes a look back at three noteworthy milestones in 2014:
FirstForward readies for national launch
One of the company’s largest triumphs of 2014 was the initial launch of FirstForward, a professional learning network for first responders. FirstForward will help members access the most effective online tools for training and development, as well as connect to other professionals who can share stories, expertise and guidance.
“Our primary goal is to provide tools that help first responders across the nation connect and collaborate with each other,” said Ari Vidali, CEO of Envisage. “We want to make it simple for a firefighter or police officer to connect. We want them to be able to discuss crucial topics, access the collective knowledge of their peers and celebrate the stories of heroism and compassion common among all first responders.”
In 2014, FirstForward concluded its first Beta testing program with several local law enforcement and emergency response organizations. Additional testing periods are planned for early 2015 before the platform is made available nationally to all first responders and their families. Interested professionals are encouraged to learn more by visiting the official site and request to be notified when registrations open.
Envisage partners with Armory Capital
Armory Capital provided Envisage with a major financial investment in 2014. This newly-formed partnership will streamline the successful launch of FirstForward and solidify Envisage’s place as the leading software developer for first responders. As the two companies move forward together, they plan to emphasize ensuring readiness for the public safety sector through training and development.
“Envisage has an outstanding reputation for quality software products and services with impressive market penetration and opportunities for growth,” explained Jacob Ambrose, managing partner of Armory Capital. “We are excited to partner with Ari and his talented team in their quest to fundamentally improve the public safety industry.”
Team Capstone wins Joint Forces Development Support Contract
Last May, seven companies were presented with an award of the Joint Force Development Services (JFDSS) indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract valued at $877 million. Envisage is a member of the Capstone Corporation Team, one of the award winners. This contract allows Team Capstone to compete for military task orders requiring training, education and exercise solutions and services—endeavors well-achieved through use of the Acadis Readiness Suite.
“We are excited to be on the Capstone team and bring the powerful and integrated capabilities of the Acadis Readiness Suite to the Joint Force as our team competes for task orders,” Vidali said.
