Bloomington, IN, July 29, 2008 – ENVISAGE Technologies Corporation announced today that it has been awarded a 5-year contract to implement its Acadis Readiness Suite™ for the Utah Peace Officers Standards and Training (POST) Academy.

The Suite is being implemented to automate law enforcement training operations at the Academy and will serve as the central repository for Utah law enforcement officers, including their employment records, training history, and certifications.

The Acadis Portal Framework enables secure, online registration for scheduled training classes by authorized police departments and sheriffs offices. Additionally, the electronic collection and distribution of mandatory In-service training reporting for Utah agencies will be available across a wide geography to ensure compliance with state policies.

In lieu of paper forms, Agencies throughout Utah will log into the Acadis Portal and will enter Inservice training records or register their officers for available classes online. This will eliminate the costs associated with transcribing data received via thousands of fax and email transmissions. The portal will also ensure the accuracy and security of the information. Access to the aggregate data will provide a solid baseline for assessing officer readiness across the state.
