ENVISAGE Solution Enables ICE to Manage Nationwide Immigration and Customs Special Agent Cross-Training Effort

Bloomington, IN - November 30, 2004 - The Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency turned to ENVISAGE, a Bloomington, Indianabased high technology firm, to rapidly develop and deploy a nationwide solution to track special agent cross-training for ICE personnel. ENVISAGE developed the software as part of the current enterprise Academy Class Management System (ACMS) developed for the DHS Customs and Border Protection, Citizenship and Immigration Services, and ICE Academies. Accessible from 300 locations Worldwide, the web-based ACMS ISACT/CSACT tracking module facilitated mandatory training tracking and reporting for over 5,200 ICE personnel around the world.

"Without this tool, we would not have been able to properly track the required training within our aggressive timeframe" stated David Palmatier, Interim Director of the ICE Academy. "We needed a way to keep track of who had or had not completed the 15 mandatory cross-training exams. ENVISAGE completed and deployed the technology in record time and our training managers appreciated how easy it was to navigate."

"We were delighted to have been able to help ICE accomplish this very important training initiative." Stated Ari Vidali, ENVISAGE CEO. "The ICE team provided a clear vision of what they needed for field training managers. This allowed us to rapidly deploy their training solution on top of their existing state-of-the-art training management system."

Mandatory cross training for ICE is on track to be completed by the end of the year.
