ENVISAGE Awarded DHS Contract: ICE Law Enforcement Academies to Implement Standardized Technologies

Bloomington, IN - September 22nd, 2004 - ENVISAGE, a Bloomington, Indiana-based high technology firm, has been awarded a multi-year contract by the Department of Homeland Security to implement enterprise training management technology to multiple academies within Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) nationwide. If all options are exercised, the contract award is worth up to $4.7 million over the next four (4) years.

"This award is a validation of the laser-like focus we have applied to solving the critical challenges of increased demand for Law Enforcement Training and the immediate need for information and process standardization," said Ari Vidali, ENVISAGE CEO. "Our team has proven its ability to leverage that expertise into enterprise technology solutions that meet the specific and complex requirements of the Federal law enforcement training environment."

The technology will be accessible to all participating ICE Academies, including the main ICE Academy in Glynco, GA, residing on the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) campus, the Federal Air Marshals Service (FAMS), the Federal Protective Service (FPS) and the Air and Marine Training Academy, as well as to ICE training managers nationwide. In addition to streamlining training operations, ICE Headquarters will gain real-time access to critical strategic human capital management reporting surrounding training effectiveness, employee skills, certifications, and qualifications.

About Department of Homeland Security - Immigration and Customs Enforcement
ICE works to protect the United States and its people by deterring, interdicting, and investigating threats arising from the movement of people and goods into and out of the United States; and by policing and securing federal government facilities across the nation. As the largest investigative arm of the DHS, ICE brings a unified and coordinated focus to the enforcement of federal immigration laws, customs laws, and, as of November 2003, air security laws. ICE brings to bear all of the considerable resources and authorities invested in it to fulfill its primary mission: to detect vulnerabilities and prevent violations that threaten national security.
